Bunker Girls and Comedy of Errors SOLD OUT at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe 2017

Raiser's first outing at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival resulted in a sell-out run of both Bunker Girls by Michael Punter and Shakespeare's classic Comedy of Errors.

"intimate and evocative" Broadway Baby

"This is a fascinating insight into the last days of life in the bunker performed by two skilled actors and is astutely directed by Guy Woolf." - British Theatre Guide

"Punter not only writes beautifully and intelligently, but he plays on the very idea of language" - The Guardian.

"A riotous modern take on Shakespeare's Comedy of Errors!" - Chris McGourty

Community Project at the Roundhouse, Camden

Raiser worked with students from Fortismere, Acland Burghley and Highgate School to devise a new piece called "When We Were Young", exploring the joys and stresses of youth and age.

We were thrilled to perform on the main stage at the Roundhouse in Camden, July 2017.

"You are sick, you are scum, you are...FEMINISTS!

You have been sent to this correctional facility to amend for the shame you have brought on womanhood. Upon leaving this institution, you will be real women again: wives, mothers and pilates enthusiasts. In order to leave,
however, you must share your crimes and expunge your shame…"

This hilarious new devised piece explores the pressures on women in an hysterical and absurd setting, giving a sideways look at the pains and perils of growing up a girl.
